Terms of Service & Dining Policy — PANOVA Café

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting PANOVA Café & Bakery, using our website (www.panova.in), or placing orders via our contactless table QR codes, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, please inform our counter staff or refrain from using our digital ordering system.

2. QR Self-Service & Token Ordering

Order Generation: When placing an order through our digital QR menu, an electronic token is generated instantly and queued on the barista / kitchen display.
Guest Verification: Patrons must provide an accurate Name and valid 10-digit Indian Mobile Number to facilitate token announcements and billing under India’s DPDP Act, 2023.
Table Seating: For dine-in orders, table tokens are tied to the selected table zone. Please occupy the selected table to ensure seamless table service.
Cancellation Window: Because our kitchen begins freshly pulling espresso shots and preparing pastries immediately upon token creation, orders cannot be cancelled or modified once kitchen preparation has commenced.

3. Food Safety, Hygiene & Allergen Disclosures

Food Safety Compliance: All bakery items, beverages, and savory meals at PANOVA are prepared under strict hygienic standards in full compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.

Our artisanal kitchen frequently handles dairy (milk, butter, cheese), tree nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios), wheat gluten, and soy. While we take utmost care, cross-contact can occur. Patrons with severe allergies are advised to notify our barista prior to ordering.

4. Pricing, Taxes & Payments

Menu Prices: All prices displayed on our physical and digital menus are in Indian Rupees (INR ₹).
Taxes: As a registered food & beverage establishment, statutory Goods & Services Tax (GST) is applied to bills in accordance with Government of India regulations.
Settlement: Orders can be settled via UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit/Debit cards at counter, or Cash upon token pickup.

5. Custom Celebration Cakes & Pre-Orders

Custom designer birthday and anniversary cakes require a minimum 4 to 24 hours advance notice. A minimum 50% advance deposit is required to confirm customized cake orders. Because cakes are personalized and baked to specific designs, advance deposits are non-refundable once baking begins.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of dining or digital ordering with PANOVA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sitamarhi, Bihar, India.
